 Resident Services Specialist (Part-time)

Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs all aspects of activities for the Independent Living Residents, This includes, but is not limited to, welcoming new residents; assisting all residents with campus services; performing any task necessary to provide services to residents including transportation, on campus educational and social activities, as well as in the community; and scheduling periodic special events.

Social Worker

Manor Park has an opening for Social Worker. The primary duties include planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing and overall operation of the Social Services of our skilled nursing facilities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and Manor Park's established policies and procedures, and may be direct by the Community Mentor to ensure that the medically-related emotional and social needs of the resident are met and maintained on an individual basis. Must have a degree in Social Work. Prefer one (1) or two (2) years of clinical Social Work experience in a long-term care facility. Two (2) years of experience dealing with geriatric population preferred but not required.

 

 

Charge Nurse 

Full-time Charge Nurse position for Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocation Nurse (LVN) available in our long-term care and skilled nursing communities for 10pm to 6am shift.  Must be RN or LVN currently licensed in the State of Texas. Long-term care experience is a plus. We offer time off with pay, 401(k) plan, health insurance, supplemental insurance, and free life insurance. The successful RN or LVN candidate must love working with senior citizens.

 

General Maintenance 

Responsible for the maintenance, preventative maintenance and repair of building  systems and equipment throughout MPI campus and buildings. Performs routine repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment, hardware, building proper, roofs, etc. Performs routine repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance inclusively in dietary, resident apartments-suites-rooms, Health Care Center, Townhomes, Garden Homes, Apartments, Administration, and other building. Installs/replace fixed and movable appliances including but not limited to refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, garbage disposals, washers and dryers.Required to follow all the safety rules and regulations as prescribed by MPI, Federal, State and local rules, laws and statutes, following instruction of same. Minimum one year experience is required.  Experience in the maintenance field with particularemphasis on apartments, health care, extended care or similar facilities are desirable.  Appliance repair, general carpentry, locksmithing, etc. are desirable.  High School diploma or equivalency

 

HVAC Technician

 

Responsible for the maintenance, preventative maintenance and repair ofbuilding systems and equipment throughout MPH. Courses in technical schools in refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, boilers, appliance repair, general carpentry, locksmithing, etc. are  preferred. Required to climb ladders, crawl under equipment or drop ceilings, lift up to one hundred pounds, have good eye-hand coordination, a lot of walking. Installs/replaces under supervision, various fixed and movable appliances including but not limited to refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, garbage disposals, washers and dryers. Required to follow all the safety rules and regulations as prescribed by MPH, Federal, State and local rules, laws and statutes, following instruction of same. Completes on time all required paperwork in the department.  Performs all other and miscellaneous duties as assigned.

 

 

Certified Nurse Aide

Manor Park is seeking Full-time Certified Nurse Aides all positions available 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am, 32/40 weekend.. Must have a current Texas CNA certification.

 

Housekeeper

We are excited to have new members to join our housekeeping team! We are looking for full-time housekeepers needed to perform the day-to day activities of the Housekeeping Department. Duties may include but are not limited to cleaning and dusting resident homes and apartments, long-term care rooms, and business offices along with other assignments given by the Director of Housekeeping.
