The essential job functions of the Marketing Representative are to proactively market Manor Park, Inc. to prospective residents. Must manage own client base leading to contract sales for vacant units and new projects and present MPI to general public at seminars meetings, etc. when requested. College education in Marketing, Business Administration, Gerontology or related fields. Must have knowledge and understanding of physical and psychological needs of geriatric population. Requires two to three years' experience in the Retirement Marketing industry or related marketing in parallel industry. Must be adept with word processing software as well as marketing management computer programs (ACT). Detail oriented customer service and marketing related background.
Job Responsibilities: Fulltime position available. Direct management of resident’s care through planning for nursing interventions. Administration of medications. Assigning duties to nursing assistants. Responsible for accurate documentation. Ongoing evaluation of each residents’ individual needs and goals. Scheduling clinic appointments. Scheduling consultant doctor visits. Arranging transportation. Arranging resident rooms/possessions. Tracking lost/missing items. Receives and provides reports on each resident from and to other nursing staff. Organizes and leads personnel in the provision of quality nursing care according to facility policies and procedures. Gives leadership and assistance to personnel as needed and actively works to improve, through example, the skills of medicine aides and nursing assistants. Receives report from preceding shift and provide accurate report to the on-coming shift. Maintains rapport with attending physicians in rounds, telephone orders and concerns and insure that all physician’s orders are carried out. Completes all incident reports as required. Other duties assigned and necessary for adequate functioning of unit and resident care.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical task of lifting, turning, moving, positioning and transporting residents into and out of bed, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, recliners, geri chairs and lifts without posing a direct threat to the health or safety of him/herself or others including resident, co-workers and other. Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly during shift. Must be able to communicate with others with or without reasonable accommodations and does not pose a direct threat to safety or health of self or others. Must have a current RN license in the State of Texas.
Licensed Vocational Nurse
Full-time position for Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) available in our long-term care community. Must be currently licensed in the State of Texas. Long-term care experience is a plus. We offer time off with pay, 401(K) plan, health insurance, supplemental insurance and free life insurance. Must love working with senior citizens. Shifts available 10pm-6am, 6am-2pm .
Certified Nurse Aide
Full-time positions available. Must have a current Texas CNA certification.
Housekeeping primary assignment is to perform the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of the Housekeeping Dept. in accordance with current federal, state and local standard guidelines, and regulations. Housekeeping duties include but are not limited to, dusting; polishing; spot cleaning carpets, walls, doors and other painted surfaces. Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms in public areas and resident rooms. Dry mops, wet mops and vacuums. Completes detail-cleaning weekly. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
